A first visit to a restaurant you have been thinking about for months deserves a little planning. Here is how to make the most of an evening at Maison Noor.
Menu, tasting or counter?
The à la carte menu is for those who like to decide. The Hearth Tasting is seven courses from the open fire, no choices required — ideal for a first visit, because it shows the kitchen's full range. The Chef's Counter is twelve courses at the pass itself, and it is the full experience: expect three hours, ten seats and a running commentary from the people cooking your dinner.
Practical notes
Dinner runs from six until midnight, Tuesday to Sunday. The room dresses smartly but not stiffly. If you have allergies or aversions, tell us when you book — the kitchen would rather know. And one honest piece of advice: leave room for the bread. The bread is not a prelude. The bread is a course.
